What the job involves
- We are on the hunt for a high-performing B2B Account Executive to join our fast-growing team at Landing. This is more than just a sales job — it’s your chance to own the full sales cycle, close high-impact deals, and earn big with a generous OTE structure. If you're hungry, ambitious, and want to make your mark in the multifamily industry space!
- You’ll take the lead in selling Autopilot, Landing’s exclusive property management solution, to Multifamily Ownership and Property Management Groups across the U.S. Your focus? Sourcing and closing new partners, nurturing and expanding relationships with existing partners, pitch with purpose, and close deals that count
- Full-cycle sales: Identify, source, pitch and close new high-volume partnerships through outbound outreach, discovery conversations and negotiations. You’ll be the face of Autopilot from intro to ink
- High travel, high impact: While Zoom is great, you won’t be chained to your desk. Expect weekly travel to meet with decision-makers and close deals face-to-face
- Creative outreach: You know how to find the right person, and how to get in front of them — even if that means unconventional methods
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner closely with our Autopilot Ops team to ensure smooth onboarding of the clients you win
- Strategic networking: Get creative about referrals, tap into your network, and help expand ours
- HQ-based in Birmingham, AL, but you’ll be nationwide in your reach
Our take
Renting a new property is a stressful process, and upon completion, renters simply want to settle into their new home. However, this is usually not the case, with new renters being required to furnish their property, set up utility bills, and prepare for another wave of stressful and complicated obstacles.
Landing provides a membership program that promises to make renting properties simpler by handling stresses for its users. The company handles the application and security fees to save users money, whilst also fully furnishing the property, setting up utility bills, and stocking the kitchen with the basics. The membership provides flexible leasing to renters, allowing them to move to a different property with just three days’ notice. Standby is the 2023 offering from Landing, which allows a lower tier of membership to move into a property for as long as it is not claimed by a standard tier member.
Startups around the world have been attempting to tackle the antiquated systems surrounding property leasing, but this is generally targeted towards purchasing a property. Landing has taken a unique step back from this market, instead focusing on increasing flexibility for renters and providing homes that are ready to move in immediately.
