Who you are
- The ideal candidate for this role is able to leverage tools to their advantage in resume review and is adept at identifying fit in a first round phone screen across role types
- Experience: 1-3 years of recruiting experience, either at a staffing/agency firm (e.g., TEKsystems, Robert Half, Insight Global) or in an in-house talent role at a fast-paced startup like Fingerprint
- Hands-on experience with recruiting/sourcing tools and demonstrated ability to leverage them effectively
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently triage high volumes of inbound applicants and consistently identify strong candidates
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to conduct effective, role-specific phone screens
- Genuine curiosity and demonstrated adaptability
What the job involves
- We are seeking an Associate Recruiter to support hiring efforts across our business, G&A, and technical teams. This role is focused primarily on inbound candidate evaluation and first round screening interviews using tools like Gem to efficiently identify and prioritize top applicants
- Review inbound applications across all open requisitions and identify candidates worth advancing, applying sound judgment
- Use Gem and other relevant sourcing/recruiting tools to improve overall recruiting efficiency
- Conduct recruiter phone screens to assess candidate qualifications for a wide range of role types
- Partner with recruiters to understand role requirements and independently execute searches against requirements
- Support both technical and non-technical searches as needed, adapting evaluation criteria to the role and demonstrating curiosity about new role types
Our take
Digital fingerprinting is an essential process in web browsers that tracks the digital address of a device to monitor web activity. This technique facilitates the identification of fraud and spam, as well as warning signs of account takeovers. However, the success of this requires users to accept cookies, a requirement that is easy to avoid.
Fingerprint provides a digital fingerprinting tool that generates a unique identifier of browser activity without requiring the user to accept cookies. The service uses the same WebGL and canvas fingerprinting utilized by existing competitors, but instead of focusing on devices, it identifies web activity. Suspicious activity will result in the identified user being logged in a database, allowing the service to be improved for others.
With this innovative approach, Fingerprint has been able to build up an impressive client roster of over 6,000 companies, including 16% of the top 500 websites by traffic. As well as displaying sustained growth through funding rounds, the company has also continued to improve upon its offering.
