Who you are

Experience programming in one or more of the following: Shell, Python, Go
Strong understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems
Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
Proven experience with Kubernetes
Experience with Kubernetes management tools like Helm
Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet
Experience working with Git/GitHub
Experience with SQL/NoSQL Databases
Experience with container orchestration systems
Running your own homelab is a plus

What the job involves

The Cloud Platform Team ensures that all our systems are reliable, secure, and meet their uptime targets
Much of our work focuses on optimizing existing systems, building new components, and automating manual processes
As a member of the Cloud Platform Team, you'll manage our cloud infrastructure, design, build, and run distributed, fault-tolerant systems, and improve and automate existing processes
We believe in security by design and follow a "paved road" philosophy by building or acquiring tools that we integrate into our platform to enhance our security posture
Security is everyone’s responsibility, but security engineering is how we make it possible for engineers to ship high-quality code to production multiple times a day with security built-in
By focusing on both scalability and security, the Cloud Platform Team enables us to deliver a secure and dependable experience for our users
Manage, monitor, and improve existing infrastructure and related tools
Support and enhance release processes
Improve the availability, security, and scalability of the platform and its services
Automate manual work
Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
Security-related Responsibilities
Compliance with Information Security Policies
Compliance with League’s secure coding practice
Responsibility and accountability for executing League's policies and procedures
Notification of HR, Legal, Compliance & Security of any incidents, breaches or policy violations
