Role
Who you are
- Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager or similar leadership role within the software development industry
- Strong technical background, with expertise in software engineering and development methodologies
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Strong Java knowledge
- Strong knowledge of working distributed systems using technology like graphQL
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (Ideally Azure)
- Working with Salesforce knowledge would be a bonus
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Passionate about technology and continuous learning
What the job involves
- We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager / Technical Lead to join our team and lead our talented engineers
- As an Engineering Manager at Mindera, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our engineering team, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions for our clients
- You will play a key role in driving the growth and development of our team members, providing mentorship and guidance to help them reach their full potential
- You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and design, to define project goals, requirements, and timelines
- As an Engineering Manager at Mindera, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and innovative projects, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and methodologies
- You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes and practices, driving excellence and efficiency across the team
- The role will lead a team of engineers including test engineers
- The role is expected to be technically competent in supporting the team
- This is a contract opportunity for an initial 6 months and sits outside IR35
