Role
Who you are
- Strong academic background in engineering, finance, business or similar
- 3-6 years of experience in Operations, Finance, Strategy Consulting or equivalent
- Fluency in English
- Stellar problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Deeply customer-centric, always striving to enhance the Upway experience
- Comfort with working in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Proficiency in SQL
- Ability to build simple automation tools
- Readiness to work on-site and travel across Europe. You will be based in Gennevilliers (Grésillons - RER C), and travel to Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands every 2 weeks
What the job involves
- The Central Operations Team’s will own and continuously improve key processes at the core of Upway’s business
- Our mission is to help Local Teams scale operations at lightning speed to fuel our growth, while improving cost efficiency and meeting our very high quality standards
- You will oversee a wide range of customer-facing operations - from Logistics to Customer Support - as well as E-Bike Refurbishment
- You will work closely with Local Operations Teams and our Tech & Product Team
- Own key parts of Upway Operations value chain, including Logistics, Customer Support, Shop Floor Operations, and E-Bike Refurbishment
- Unlock growth by making our processes future-proof thanks to a culture of continuous learning and innovation
- Ensure we deliver on our very high Quality standards, and analyze customer feedback to keep raising the bar
- Make our Operations more and more cost efficient
- Build tools that allow our Local Operations teams to operate efficiently thanks to automation and data-driven decision-making
- Build dashboards to get an accurate view of our Operations across Europe in real time
- Collaborate with our Local Operations and Tech & Product Teams to identify opportunities to improve our Operations
