Mobile Development Engineer, Harmonic

• We are looking for a driven self-starter with a proven track record of shipping ambitious, impactful, and user-centric products from inception, specifically demonstrating expertise in crafting performant, scalable, and intuitive mobile applications
• Deep Mobile Expertise: A proven track record of shipping ambitious and user-centric mobile applications from concept to launch. Professional experience with React Native and/or Expo is preferred
• Product-Minded Engineer: A strong sense of user empathy and product intuition, with a passion for building experiences that are both powerful and delightful
• Ownership and Ambiguity: The ability to operate independently and effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and highly ambiguous environment, consistently delivering results
• Cross-Functional Excellence: Superb communication skills and a history of working effectively with product, design, and other engineering teams to achieve shared goals
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent industry experience
• 3+ years of hands-on relevant industry experience
• Demonstrated success in delivering complex native mobile apps
• Experience with experimentation and iterative development processes
• Proven work ethic, self-motivation, and a passion for building impactful products
• Experience collaborating with designers, including familiarity with Figma
• Solid product sense, an eye for design, and a willingness to think critically about user experience
• Experience with modern software development practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build and deployment processes, and testing
• Proven track record operating successfully in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

• We are seeking a Mobile Development Engineer to drive the early development of Harmonic’s mobile products
• In this role, you will be instrumental in translating cutting-edge mathematical superintelligence into delightful and useful consumer experiences
• Own the end-to-end development of our mobile applications, leading the technical design, implementation, and deployment of a high-quality product from the ground up
• Obsess over the details of the user experience by implementing intuitive mobile user experiences as well as optimizing application performance
• Partner closely with product managers, designers, and research teams to define, prototype, and build innovative features that transform complex technology into seamless and intuitive user interactions
• Leverage AI-native tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development cycles and establish new best practices in mobile engineering
