Who you are

Our ideal candidate has deep expertise in the infrastructure domain, and is as comfortable working with the cloud as they are with physical hardware
We're looking for someone who knows their Terraform, loves a bit of Ruby, Golang or Python and isn't phased by terms such as 'RFC1918'
Deep expertise in infrastructure, and is comfortable working with physical equipment in a datacenter
Commercial experience using AWS, with proven skills around EC2, IAM and VPC in particular
Demonstrable experience in Linux systems administration, with a good working knowledge of fundamental tooling such as systems monitoring, networking, etc
Highly experienced in Kubernetes, with the ability to administrate, automate and troubleshoot Kubernetes based systems
Excellent development skills, with proven ability to code in at least one language such as Ruby, Go, Python etc
Good experience with a major CI/CD tool such as Jenkins, Circle, Github or similar
Excellent knowledge of either Terraform or Pulumi, with experience using them to automate both AWS and Kubernetes
Good exposure to monitoring tools such as Prometheus, with a good sense of what metrics to monitor and when to alert

What the job involves

We are looking for someone to work with our infrastructure platform, someone who loves infrastructure automation and delights in using code to create and maintain complex, high performance, infrastructure
We're working on cutting edge solutions where 'Hybrid cloud' is more than just a buzzword
We deploy to major clouds, and maintain bare metal servers to work on demanding tasks at scale
This role is a great opportunity for someone to really make a mark, with great scope for doing things their way

Our take

With products focused on video, image, and audio content, Ad Signal is utilising AI to help businesses manage their content. Their solutions help content creators find assets quicker, saving them time, as well as identifying duplicates and removing them. They can also apply metadata to content, helping to organise libraries of content and archives.

With large clients such as Sky and Clearcast, it’s clear they are solving a problem in the TV advertising industry.

Ad Signal also has a sustainability angle, claiming to reduce companies' carbon footprint by reducing their need for large data storage centers.
