Role
Who you are
- You have 5+ years of experience as an account executive in SaaS sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
- You have significant wins under your belt selling deals upwards of $150,000 ARR to enterprise customers
- You have experience in adtech, martech, or selling to marketers - in essence, you understand our customer and their top concern: measuring their marketing
- You have experience navigating six to seven figure ACV sales processes with large, complex customer prospects
- You’re entrepreneurial, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- You have experience working in early-stage startups and are comfortable navigating ambiguity
- You’re a top performer in your current role, with strong communication skills and a sales approach underpinned by your natural curiosity
- You are eager to learn and explain complex concepts, such as how we pixel a site or the basics of a data warehouse implementation
- You bring a team-first mindset and are eager to help others succeed while simultaneously driving your own results
What the job involves
- Our Rockerbox Commercial team drives company growth by helping prospects and customers solve their biggest marketing challenges
- By leveraging a strong content program, a skilled SDR team, and a top-tier product, in addition to conducting your own prospecting, our Enterprise Sales Directors are set up for success in a greenfield market
- As a Senior Enterprise Sales Director, you’re focused on closing new business for DV Rockerbox
- You’ll play a key role in shaping our sales processes and contributing to the growth of the team
- You’ll manage a full enterprise sales process end-to-end, from qualifying customers to building stakeholder relationships across the organization to driving complex deals across the finish line
- You’ll work closely with our Product, Customer Success, and Professional Services teams to offer prospects meaningful context into the value that a partnership with DV Rockerbox will offer their organization
- Conduct ongoing prospecting to ensure your pipeline is full with potential customers
- Own the sales cycle end-to-end: qualify opportunities, run product demos, negotiate terms, and close enterprise level deals
- Apply a consultative approach to uncover customer needs and provide tailored solutions, particularly in large, complex organizations with multiple layers of stakeholders involved
- Efficiently manage a pipeline of prospective customers, ensuring accurate sales forecasting
- Achieve and exceed ambitious monthly quotas, demonstrating consistent performance
- Collaborate with our Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to share market feedback and ensure we are working with the customers best suited for the product
Our take
The importance of digital advertising continues to grow, but it can be difficult for companies to protect their brand identity online. DoubleVerify solves this problem using software that monitors campaign performance in real-time.
Since it was first launched, DoubleVerify has successfully carved out an impressive market share, and now boasts customers such as digital advertising giant Facebook as long-time customers. Its success is largely owed to the quality of its technology, which far outperforms that of its rivals. DoubleVerify has consolidated its success by expanding the range of languages its tools support. It has also expanded into new markets such as Australia and New Zealand, a key indicator of the company’s continued growth.
The digital ad space is changing constantly, and DoubleVerify will need to remain as agile and adaptive as it is at present in order to compete with rivals such as Tremor and Quantcast. But with a 2021 IPO, several recent rounds of funding and new product releases, it looks set to tackle its competitors head on and stay ahead of the game.
