Role
Who you are
- 6+ years of proven experience in a business operations role, ideally at high-growth technology companies in the fintech or crypto spaces, or with a top-tier management consulting firm or investment bank
- Analytical powerhouse, with ninja-like ability to pick apart a business and drive critical insights that lead to operational improvement
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences
- Demonstrated expertise leading change management initiatives within complex organizations
- Proven experience managing and leading large, complex cross-functional initiatives involving multiple BUs with interdependent capabilities, from inception to completion
- Experience driving successful company planning exercises for hyper-growth companies, leading to strong business outcomes in subsequent cycles
- Proven ability to interact with senior executives, influencing key decisions and driving progress on complex, high-impact initiatives
What the job involves
- Business Operations is the nerve center of the company, leading the charge on planning, business intelligence, performance measurement, and transformational initiatives
- The team has deep insight into the metrics that drive the business and works cross-functionally to ensure all Krakenites are working in tandem to reach and exceed Kraken’s goals
- The Principal, Business Operations role will play a significant part in driving cross-functional transformation efforts across the firm and strategic planning activities
- This role will partner with cross functional stakeholders, such as Product, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Kraken's Executive team, to deliver on strategic projects that will shape our business for years to come!
- Drive cross-functional efforts to implement transformative initiatives that enhance processes and drive operational efficiencies, resulting in improved business outcomes
- Define and ensure accountability for Kraken’s enterprise KPIs, and drive analytic insights to inform decisions that shape both Kraken’s company strategy and the near-term direction of Kraken’s Product and commercial teams
- Contribute to multi-product and multi-functional integration initiatives resulting from strategic acquisitions and partnerships, with the objective of maximizing deal synergy and enterprise value
- Support Kraken’s enterprise operations model, at the nexus of the operations of multiple functions and practices, including Finance, Tax, Legal, Compliance, People, and Risk
- Support Kraken's quarterly planning efforts and own the process of preparing and presenting periodic business reviews, board presentations, and internal leadership communications that clearly articulate the key drivers of Kraken’s performance
- Build and maintain close relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, including all product and corporate functions critical to business performance
