Who you are
- 2+ years of experience in Digital Marketing, Campaign or Account Management preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required. BA in marketing, statistics, advertising or business preferred
- Must possess a strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel)and Google Docs
- Experience with digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, Hubspot)
- Must be able to comprehend and articulate analytical data, specifically data geared toward display banners such as CTRs, Video Completion Rate, Viewability, etc
- Must exercise great proactivity with strong communication, customer relations, and analytical skills
- Ability to stay on task and follow outlined processes
- Should enjoy working collaboratively across multiple departments
- Ability to thrive in a nimble, detail and deadline-driven environment
- A strong level of comfort and confidence in answering and/or resolving client inquiries is necessary
What the job involves
- In working within the Account Management team, the Account Manager is one of the key members of Outside’s Media Sales Account Management team, specializing in Campaign Management and Ad Operations
- They partner with internal teams and clients to manage digital media campaigns from start to finish, overseeing key deliverables such as display tactics, email marketing, newsletter sponsorships, reporting, billing and other campaign elements
- The Account Manager will also be responsible for managing the clients campaign from signature through execution including the following responsibilities, insertion order review and approval, asset collection, custom collaboration, campaign launches, billing, reporting and overall campaign logistics
- Within 1 month, you will:
- Mange set up and execution of clients digital brand campaigns include - display, email marketing, newsletter sponsorship
- Build and maintain relationships with clients: be the go-to, daily, and single point of contact ensuring alignment on goals, deliverables, timelines and KPIs
- Be responsible for campaign launch and management, including but not limited to: Review signed contract, client outreach, aggregating assets, securing site inventory across Outside’s brand websites communicating campaign elements to all respective parties, QA trafficking setup, monitoring and optimizing campaigns to meet client expectations
- Manage receipt, testing, and any required technical adjustment of creative in time for campaign launch
- Ensure that the client-contracted items are delivered within the scheduled duration
- Connect with clients on an ongoing basis to provide touch points
- Provide reporting updates for clients
- Within 6 months, you will:
- Collaborate with multiple departments including trafficking team, sales team, editorial, digital planning, client success, custom content, social and email marketing from campaign launch through the end of campaign reporting cycle
- Communicate campaign complications to salesperson and client and offer viable alternatives to achieve full comprehension of the functionality of video, display and email ad servers and the delivery and performance monitoring
- Practice the ability to problem-solve and strategize, juggle multiple tasks while managing and monitoring a high volume of campaigns
- Follow up with clients on outstanding campaigns and deliverables on contracts
- Be comfortable with the reconciliation of all contracts. Ensuring client contracts have been delivered in full and reporting has been provided
- Manage monthly campaign billing and reporting need
- Within 12 months, you will:
- Be able to carry out the troubleshooting processes designed to identify and resolve issues caused by trafficking setup errors, mistakes in content management system or technology malfunctions
- Obtain heavy knowledge within systems including AdBook OMS, Google Ad Manager, Google Analytics, Google Suite, Double Verify Publisher Suite, Megaphone, Salesforce, Asana, Sprout Social, Power Inbox, Pressboard, Adobe Acrobat Pro and Hubspot, Meta Business Manager
- Meet and exceed client expectations by providing the highest level of customer service and developing strategies to resolve issues as they arise
- Develop strategies to optimize campaigns and strategically navigate issues as they arise
