Who you are
- Experience: 5+ years in FP&A, banking, consulting, or equity research. SaaS or tech exposure preferred, not required
- Technical Stack: Fluent with modern AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor). Comfortable in Excel and Sheets when needed, but oriented toward moving analysis into durable systems
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Mindset: A self-directed "financial innovator" who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
- Skills: Strong first-principles problem solving, clean analytical reasoning, and conclusion-first written communication

What the job involves
- We are looking for an FP&A Manager who treats financial analysis as a systems problem — building the logic and workflows that let the business make faster, better decisions, and partnering with BI and data teams to put that logic into durable systems.
- You will join a Finance Team of strategic doers dedicated to eliminating manual spreadsheets and building automated, robust systems that support a "rocketship" growth trajectory. This role is about transforming raw data into the strategic insights that empower our internal business units to make informed decisions
- As the owner of key FP&A pillars, you will ensure our financial engine runs with precision and agility:
- Core Modeling: Own and evolve the company’s core operating models, including sophisticated financial modeling and scenario/sensitivity analysis
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the development and implementation of advanced financial planning and forecasting processes
- Business Partnering: Act as a strategic partner to cross-functional teams, identifying challenges and delivering actionable solutions
- Close & Variance Analysis: Support monthly and quarterly close processes, providing deep-dive variance analysis to identify trends and risks
- Reporting Packages: Deliver timely, accurate monthly reporting packages for the executive team and board
- KPI Management: Own the development and maintenance of KPI dashboards and performance metrics
- Systems and Automation: Partner with BI and data engineering to move recurring analysis out of spreadsheets and into governed systems
- Cross-functional Influence: Raise the analytical bar across finance and the business through the quality of your work
Our take
Emergency response services currently act exclusively on information provided by phone calls. Callers are usually vulnerable and panicked, and this has a negative effect on the expression of important information to phone call receivers. In addition, America's 9-1-1 system was built for landline phones, making it nearly impossible to digitally send data to first responders.
RapidSOS builds tools that provide caller data to emergency services to help them assess situations and make decisions faster. The startup utilizes data from mobile devices, smart devices and security systems to gain valuable insights into users' location, medical history and more. This helps produce a general profile on a caller ID, providing valuable contextual information in emergency situations.
The company continues to release new features and products, such as the first AI co-pilot for 911, and an intelligent safety platform for emergency responders. Having surpassed 1 billion emergencies supported, the company has raised a further round of funding to support continued scaling and the advancement of its tech.
