What the job involves
- Our Business teams are each hiring an intern to participate in an 10-week intensive summer internship program from June 3 - August 9
- The goal of Vestwell’s internship program is to provide the insights, tools, and training to empower participants to identify and advocate for what they view as the greatest opportunities for our teams to fulfill the company’s mission
- As an intern at Vestwell, you will have the opportunity to learn about the company and all aspects of our industry and business across various departments
- You will work closely with stakeholders across our extremely collaborative, cross-functional teams to conduct research, capture data, and attend meetings where you will be asked to participate in projects that will help prepare you to tackle business challenges here and in your future career
- To help set you up for success and ensure opportunities for continuous growth, you will have an assigned manager and dedicated mentor to help guide you through your internship with regularly scheduled check-ins and feedback sessions
- As a National Sales Intern at Vestwell, you will play a vital role in supporting our sales channels and strategic distribution partnerships
- This internship offers hands-on experience in outbound selling activities, allowing you to gain valuable insights into the fundamentals of sales within a high-growth fintech organization
- You will work on the front lines of our Sales Org, learning firsthand about the unique dynamics of the financial services industry as well as Vestwell’s innovative value proposition
- Prospect and qualify leads through cold calling, emailing, and networking
- Schedule and coordinate meetings and demos for the sales team
- Provide regular updates on sales activities, progress, and challenges
- Vestwell's Internship roles are based in our NYC office. Individuals who are hired will be expected to participate in Vestwell's hybrid program of reporting to the NYC office a minimum of two days per week
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and market segments
- Support the sales team in preparing proposals, presentations, and sales materials
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and satisfaction
- Assist in the development of sales strategies and outreach campaigns
