Role
Who you are
- We value experience as highly as qualifications, so we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Account Manager with a strong commercial drive:
- 3+ years in B2B Account Management or a similar commercial client-facing role (ideally fintech, SaaS, or high-growth tech), ready to take ownership of client growth
- You don't need to code or perform technical configurations, but you are tech-fluent. You enjoy geeking out about technology, are naturally curious about how things work, and can translate technical concepts into commercial value. It’s a plus if you know how card payments work. You’re comfortable working in Jira & Hubspot and enjoy leveraging data to spot account opportunities
- You should be available for international travel, bringing a commercial mindset focused on client retention, account expansion, and driving mutual business growth in a fast-paced tech scale-up environment
- Finally, you have a proven track record of expanding client portfolios, managing renewals, and building successful, revenue-generating partnerships in your current or prior roles
What the job involves
- We are looking for a dynamic Account Manager to join our Silverflow team based in Amsterdam!
- You will be joining our Account Management team, and you will be collaborating with internal and external partners while building strong relationships with our customers. You will be taking on an active role in the coordination of day-to-day operations while building a strategic long-term relationship with our clients to ensure growth and adoption of our solutions
- You are the primary conduit between our product, technical account management, engineering and our partners & clients. You don't just coordinate; you help translate business goals into technical requirements
- You will manage a portfolio of innovative merchants and PSPs, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities that align with their strategic scaling needs over the long term
- You’ll educate clients on payments in a cloud-native environment and on optimisation to turn their payments into revenue drivers
- You will champion clients internally at Silverflow. You’ll sit with our Product and Engineering teams to ensure the Silverflow roadmap reflects the "on-the-ground" reality for our clients
- Own the post-sales lifecycle, from onboarding through to regular business reviews, contract renewals and the overall strategic relationship
- As Silverflow is an office-first company, being located in the Netherlands and able to work onsite is essential for this role
- Organisationally, we are a flat organization. You’ll work closely with the Head of Account Management, and the leadership team and experienced mentors, receiving hands-on guidance from people who genuinely care about your growth and development
Our take
Silverflow is addressing the longstanding challenge of outdated backend processing systems in the payment industry. While notable disruptors like Adyen, Stripe and PayPal have transformed the front end, offering merchants user-friendly and innovative solutions, the backend infrastructure has largely remained rooted in technology from the past. This gap prompted Silverflow's founders to envision a new approach.
Silverflow's solution is to offer offering a singular API to connect seamlessly with card networks, reducing both the cost and complexity of payments processing for its clients.
