Role
Who you are
- 1-2+ years of experience in data analysis or data migration, ideally within a SaaS or B2B environment
- Familiarity with Python or a similar programming language for automating data analysis tasks
- Fluent in writing analytical SQL and can write complex queries to transform, filter, and manipulate customer data
- Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to perform complex data analysis, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and automation using macros or Power Query for data transformation
- Proven experience working with large, complex datasets and executing data cleaning, transformation, and validation tasks
- Comfort working with data from various sources and understanding of data mapping principles
- Ability to communicate technical data issues to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively
- Comfort working in a customer-facing role, with a history of collaborating directly with clients to resolve data-related challenges
What the job involves
- Collaborate with customers, customer success managers, and data engineers to understand unique data requirements, troubleshoot issues, and communicate progress in a clear and professional manner
- Analyze and validate customer data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and readiness for migration into GovWell
- Develop a repeatable playbook for performing data discovery, cleaning, and transformation across diverse customer datasets, enabling faster and more efficient migrations
- Implement quality assurance processes by designing and running programmatic tests to validate the integrity of data migrations and prevent future issues
- Continuously improve migration processes by identifying bottlenecks, proposing optimizations, and exploring opportunities to automate repetitive tasks
