Role
Who you are
- Senior experience in growth, performance and/or digital marketing, preferably in the B2B SaaS space (10+ years)
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with business partners and collaborators. You work well with others and can drive initiatives forward
- Analytical mindset. You’ll manipulate and analyze data to drive campaign ideas and then analyze results to make improvements
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of marketing automation tools, platforms, and reporting
- Attribution and data expertise including GA4, GSC, Looker and others
- Experience with international digital acquisition (NA, EMEA & APAC)
- Experienced advertiser on digital advertising platforms like Adwords, Display, Affiliate programs, Facebook, Linkedin, etc
- Strong on and off-page SEO experience
- Experience managing large budgets at a global level and being accountable for ROI
- Player/Coach - strategy is not enough, we need to build things and expect you to get stuck in with your team
- Great management skills, you will be the leader of a team
What the job involves
- The Director of Performance Marketing is a strategic role that leads our global paid and organic digital marketing channels
- We are looking for an experienced digital expert and leader to manage a talented digital marketing team at the international level
- The main goal of this team is to drive demand and inbound pipeline through high ROI-driven digital strategies
- Drive pipeline for our inbound / outbound sales team by ensuring SLA-bound handoffs and nurturing our target list of accounts
- Work with regional managers on campaigns and experiments across multiple channels to maximize conversions
- Own relationships with contractors and agencies and related budgets
- Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple teams to execute complex cross-functional initiatives that move the business forward
- Constantly innovate and push the envelope, moving beyond typical B2B marketing playbooks to unlock scale and ROI
- Set up and develop a global digital strategy to drive inbound and enable predictive spend and positive ROAS, with the goal to meet or exceed digital performance targets
- Own digital channels to feed marketing and sales funnel and oversee digital customer acquisition strategy with advanced audience targeting (SEO, Google Ads, Paid social, ranking websites…)
- Work and manage the SEO Expert to optimize site traffic and conversion
- Analyze and report weekly results, implement corrective actions quickly if needed and work with the operations to determine and prioritize data views needed to optimize digital efforts and track results
- Report to the leadership team inbound performance, tactical and strategic plan
- Enable full-funnel performance analysis and align investment decisions with performance targets
Our take
Call centres have been a mainstay of sales teams for decades, with the human touch delivering an impression conversion rate of about 30% for inbound calls. However analogue call centres are physical infrastructure-heavy and unable to take advantage of the flexibility afforded by remote and hybrid ways of work. Aircall exists to change that, providing a cloud-based call centre infrastructure that allows sales teams to work from their home offices.
Aircall isn't the only company in this space, and it faces heavy competition from Cloudtalk, another cloud-based call centre solution. However Aircall stands out in the market by its use of open APIs and webhooks, making integration with existing productivity and helpdesk tools much easier, and its superior call quality. Aircall has developed a significant customer base with these strengths, with over 15,000 companies using its platform.
The company has raised significant funding in recent years, highlighting the confidence investors have in their offering. With a rapidly expanding presence in the US, European, UK and Australian markets and recent refresher leadership hires, Aircall could soon be a widely recognised international player in the telephone software industry.
