Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 10+ years in a related sales position with a record of success
- CRM system experience (i.e. Salesforce).Advanced problem-solving skills
- Ability to build one-on-one relationships with customers and identify their business needs
- Advanced organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced negotiation skills. Naturally persuasive and persistent to achieve goals
- General computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the G Suite of products
- Strong executive communication skills with the ability to manage internal and external expectations

What the job involves
- We are looking to add a Strategic Account Executive - Majors to our team for North America!
- Prospecting and driving sales at named strategic accounts and attaining quarterly and annual quotas
- Our Strategic AEs carry a $2M-$5M quota (fully-ramped), depending on level, with uncapped accelerators
- Engage and provide sales consulting to Executives and senior business leaders to influence investment in the Rescale technology
- While you will have a 2:1 resource ratio to our pre-sales engineers and a 1:1 customer-success engineer, we deeply educate our Account Executives so that they can have technical conversations with all customer points of contact
- Develop and coordinate Target Account Plans for strategic accounts
- Coordinate activities with other organizations within the company required to execute Account Plans, Project Plans, Executive alignment documents, and more
- Qualify and close new name business within strategic accounts from marketing leads, establishing a significant number of new business units and users
- Provide sales support to existing customers as needed, while new incremental business
- Provide accurate forecasts on a regular basis, as well as other information as required
- You will forecast weekly your commit, most likely, best case, and pipeline numbers to provide transparency of your regional activities

Migrating on-premises infrastructure to a hybrid or fully cloud-based setup is a complex process that requires network understanding, resources, and time. Whilst some companies aid in making this switch more simple, the challenges of migrating high-performance computing (HPC) systems to the cloud are significantly more complex and remain unaided.
Rescale provides sets of HPC resources to help customers optimize their applications for maximum performance within hybrid or fully cloud-based infrastructures. This is achieved through the application of full-stack automation to minimize the complexity of migration, fine-tuning the infrastructure to optimize the performance of the specific application.
Various startups are tackling infrastructural migration for small businesses and enterprises to aid in industry-wide moves to cloud computing. Rescale presents itself as a unique competitor by focusing on aiding companies that require HPC for industries such as engineering, aerospace, and scientific research companies.
