Who you are
- Have 5+ years of product management experience in marketplace, B2B2C, or B2C at scale, with a proven track record of delivering successful, regulation-compliant products
- Bring a sufficient technical knowledge to engage in meaningful discussions with developers
- Excel in data analysis and synthesis, using insights to drive product decisions and measure success
- Possess high energy, ownership, and outstanding communication skills
- Demonstrate a user-first approach, identifying and prioritizing opportunities to achieve team goals
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, switching seamlessly between strategic thinking and hands-on execution
- Have experience identifying user pains and needs, validating hypotheses, running market experiments, scoping services, and launching products

What the job involves
- We are looking for a passionate Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy for our Electronic Health Records (EHR) team. Your mission will be to create an exceptional product that boosts doctor efficiency and provides transparent information to engage patients in their healthcare records, while ensuring compliance and security
- Define Strategy: Develop and execute the EHR strategy, balancing local and global needs to enhance doctor efficiency and patient engagement
- Ensure Data Protection: Take ownership of privacy and security aspects to protect patient data
- Drive Growth: Boost doctor and patient growth, engagement, and satisfaction through product solutions
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, research, and analytics teams to identify and address critical customer problems
- Analyze and Monitor: Track customer behavior, analyze performance metrics, and measure results against KPIs to inform ongoing improvements
- Backlog Management: Create and prioritize a backlog of initiatives, using data-driven experimentation and validated business cases to execute projects
- Agile Development: Develop product requirements through Agile or Shape Up methodologies, crafting user stories, wireframes, or prototypes grounded in user insights
- Cross-functional Partnership: Collaborate with Product Managers and other departments to align business goals with customer needs, ensuring delivery of impactful initiatives
- Quality Assurance: Oversee the functionality of developed features, ensuring they meet quality standards before production release

Healthcare platform Docplanner has become a major player in the European healthtech market in the decade since it was founded. The company offers a suite of administrative tools for 30M patients and around 2M doctors worldwide, including workflow digitisation and appointment booking services. The company currently operate in 13 countries, hit Unicorn status in 2021, and has been riding a recent wave of digital transformation and workforce overburdening in the healthcare sector which has spurred on demand for precisely the kind of services they provide. So it’s safe to say business is going well.
What is most compelling about Docplanner’s business journey has been its long-brewing competition with their direct competitor, the fellow Unicorn and better-funded Doctolib. The tête-à-tête with this French/German rival has seen both parties making aggressive European expansion with national acquisitions - Doctolib in Italy, France, and Germany; Docplanner in Turkey, Poland, Spain, and Latin America. With Docplanner’s 2021 acquisition of German parallel platform Jameda, however, they are making moves on Doctolib’s home turf. The company has also acquired MyDr, a leading Polsih tech solutions provider.
These broad consolidation moves represent a maturation of the healthtech market which will serve both competitors well. Docplanner is certainly a key and aggressive contender in this race - and this company isn't going anywhere any time soon.
