Who you are

BA/BS in Accounting; Licensed CPA or working towards a CPA preferred
2-4 years of experience in a similar role
Preference to work in a dynamic, high-growth startup environment
Experience with Excel and ERP systems, Netsuite preferred but not required
Solid understanding of US GAAP concepts and financial reporting
Possess excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills

What the job involves

Spot & Tango is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our NY HQ team!
In this role, you will report directly to our Senior Accounting Manager
Timely processing of Accounts Payable
Support of the month end closing process
Ensuring proper documentation of all relevant accounting procedures
Maintaining our monthly reconciliation of BS / IS accounts
Support of the payroll process
Working closely with leadership on the annual audit
Support the broader finance and accounting team on an as needed basis
