Who you are

5+ years developing databases, data pipelines, and analytics tools
Strong expertise in SQL and Python (Pandas, SQLAlchemy)
Proficiency with Power BI and Tableau for dashboards, KPIs, and data storytelling
Experience integrating data from ERP, MES, and SCM systems as well as relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases
Solid understanding of data modeling, normalization, and database design
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and services (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication abilities with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Desirable

Experience with CI/CD for data solutions
Proficiency in DAX, M, or other data transformation languages
Exposure to machine learning or advanced analytics
Background in domains requiring high-precision operational decision-making (i.e. manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, automotive, robotics, aerospace)

What the job involves

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer with deep expertise in database development, data analysis, and data analytics tool creation
In this role, you will be responsible for integrating and normalizing data from diverse sources, building performant data pipelines, and creating powerful visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, custom dashboards) that enable precise decision-making, progress tracking, and issues management across the organization
Shape data infrastructure and analytics tools critical to the future of humanoid robotics
Build decision intelligence systems that drive real-world outcomes for 50+ DoF biped robots
In time, your work will support thousands of robots operating safely in dynamic environments
Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing and supply chain databases, data warehouses, and ETL pipelines to integrate data from diverse sources
Architect data models and normalization strategies to ensure consistency, accuracy, and usability
Build and maintain analytics and visualization tools using Power BI, Tableau, and custom dashboards
Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering teams to define KPIs and reporting solutions
Develop systems for tracking progress against schedules, forecasting capacity, and managing risks
Optimize queries and database performance for large-scale datasets
Implement data governance, security, and quality control mechanisms

The field of robotics has advanced massively in the last few years, to the point where androids no longer belong to the realm of science fiction. 1X, formerly known as Halodi Robotics, is developing androids capable of human-like movement and behaviour, to employ in workplaces across the globe.

1X's flagship model, EVE, boasts front and rear optics, wheeled navigation and gripper-hands. The android is strong enough to move shipments but gentle enough to handle fragile items, making it ideal for work in retail storerooms or distribution centers. In addition, it is able to open doors and take elevators, and its AI mind grants it heightened navigation abilities, meaning it is simple to fit into workplaces without making large adjustments.

With significant funding at its back, the company is now looking to scale up its manufacture of EVE androids, as well as accelerate the production of its second-gen bipedal android model NEO which is described as an "intelligent android assistant". Though the adoption of working androids is still in its early stages, 1X has certainly made a splash in the space and may well be one to watch as it takes its place in shaping the future of robotics.
