Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Journalism, English, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in technical writing or a related field
- Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to translate complex technical information into simple, clear, and concise content
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience integrating AI solutions and tools into technical writing and systems
- Ability to learn and understand our product and become a subject matter
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with content management systems and project management tools
- Experience with reporting standards and web analytics
- Experience with Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, and design tools required
What the job involves
- We are seeking an experienced Technical Content Writer to join our team
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing technical content that effectively communicates complex technical information to a diverse audience
- The Technical Content Writer will collaborate with various teams to gather technical information, conduct research, and develop content that is engaging, accurate, and informative
- Additionally, the Technical Content Writer will help establish and maintain content standards and guidelines, and ensure that all content adheres to our brand voice and style
- Produce high-quality technical content including but not limited to product guides, user manuals, white papers, and case studies
- Conduct thorough research on complex technical topics and translate that information into easily digestible content
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Customer Success, Engineering, and Marketing to gather technical information and ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure that all technical content aligns with the company’s business objectives
- Develop and maintain content standards, guidelines, and best practices
- Continuously review and edit technical content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency
- Manage content projects and timelines, ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, and incorporate new and innovative content strategies into our overall content strategy
