- AutoRek is a financial data management platform enabling companies to streamline and automate complex and high-volume data management and controls processes
- Our customers range from innovative FinTech start-ups to many of the UK and the world’s largest and established banks, asset managers and insurance companies
- Digital data and financial transaction volumes are growing exponentially, this combined with increasing regulatory obligations is driving the demand for improved efficiencies, better control, and management of risk across the financial services industry. The AutoRek platform meets these demands and more and that is why we continue to be a leading player in the market
- AutoRek are seeking to augment its Platform Engineering team with a dedicated manager as we seek to improve and professionalise the development of this team in a year of planned expansion
- This team is <12 months old, having formed as a carve-out from our Cloud Operations team to allow dedicated focus on the engineering of our Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) estate, utilising technologies such as Terraform and Ansible, targeting workloads in Azure
- Lead, develop, and support a team of Engineers, ensuring they feel supported, are continuously learning, and have opportunities to grow
- Build strong working relationships across Software Engineering, Product Management, and the wider Infrastructure & Support teams
- Work extensively with Azure and daily tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps, and Git repositories
- Guide and assist the team in refining and extending automation and tooling used to deploy and maintain customer platforms
- Collaborate closely with the Cloud Operations team, ensuring effective use of delivered templates
- Respond to 2nd/3rd line support escalations when required, with a focus on upskilling teams and improving documentation to reduce repeated issues
