Who you are

- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
- Proficient in English (written and verbal)
- 2-4 years experience in technical sourcing, preferably in AI, or SaaS product companies
- Expertise in LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and/or other search techniques
- Familiarity with Greenhouse ATS systems
- Strong communication skills for engaging passive candidates and stakeholders
- Understanding of technical roles (e.g., software development, cloud architecture)
- Ability to thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments
Desirable
- Ability to context switch and work on multiple roles concurrently
- Experience sourcing for niche roles (AI/ML, cybersecurity, etc.)
- Proven success in high-growth startups or scaling organizations
What the job involves
- As a Technical Sourcer at Thoughtful AI, you will be an essential element of our growth, your mission being to identify, and engage the world's best tech talent
- You'll feed the technical arm of our recruitment process for the product and engineering divisions building robust pipelines and mapping the market of top talent
- In this role, you'll be granted autonomy and must navigate the uncertainties of a fast-paced startup environment
- Candidate Sourcing: Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, Boolean searches, and niche platforms to identify passive candidates
- Candidate Screening: Build and maintain talent pipelines high priority technical roles, ensuring talent quality and alignment with company needs
- Collaboration: Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to define role requirements, refine sourcing strategies, and prioritize candidates
- Tools & Systems: Manage candidate data in ATS (Greenhouse)
- Employer Branding: Promote Thoughtful AI’s culture through compelling outreach, social media engagement, and other relevant channels
- Market Insights: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor talent pools, and compensation benchmarks to inform sourcing strategies
- Metrics & Reporting: Track sourcing KPIs (response rates, conversion rates) and optimize processes based on data-driven insights
Our take
Staffing is one of the most expensive contributors to business operation expenses, leading OpEx teams to minimize workforce sizes to cut costs. However, this often results in unfilled roles leading to larger workloads for employees, a sacrifice that can lead to lower-quality work and expensive errors.
Thoughtful develops bespoke back office automation bots, allowing businesses to hire bots that are specifically designed to automate their tasks and workflows. After onboarding, the company monitors and provides reports on the performance of each bot, allowing clients to see the value of each bot and whether adjustments are needed.
Whilst back office automation tools are nothing new, these generally work as integrations within other platforms, whereas Thoughtul’s bots are uniquely designed to emulate a position that would otherwise be staffed by a human. The company claims that its bots can help OpEx teams minimize staffing costs and optimize workflows whilst preventing any risk associated with cost cutting.
