Who you are

Bachelor’s Degree in related field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in successful management of small- and large-scale events that drive business results; or equivalent combination of education/training and work experience
Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or related industry certification a plus
Experience within a corporate environment, preferably medical devices or similar industry
Deep passion for event management, bringing positivity, enthusiasm, and creativity to the job
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels
Very strong project management skills, detailed oriented, and deadline driven

What the job involves

As part of our team, you’d be developing breakthroughs that will revolutionize the future of stroke care and other vascular diseases
Plan the logistics and execution of national tradeshows and regional hospital conferences
Identify and secure resources for assigned events including venue, accommodations, registration, AV & catering. Manage event budgets, negotiate/process contracts obtaining legal and finance approvals, and keep detailed tracking of spending to balance against allocated resources
Own end-to-end planning and project management for each event, including timelines and detailed project plans in Asana platform
Update and maintain the company’s 12-month event calendar and oversee event communications to internal and external event attendees, including the management of event landing pages, event communications, registrations, as well as post-event tracking in Salesforce.com
Collect and analyze event operations results/feedback and create actionable items to implement recommendations for improving processes and outcomes
Provide support for sales leadership in the preparation of regional sales meetings when support is requested from sales leadership
Support Marketing Communications Leader on National Sales Meeting execution
