Role
Who you are
- Minimum 3 years of experience (post-BS/MS) in full-stack (JavaScript/Typescript or Python) software engineering, particularly in product-focused roles within the SaaS domain
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to develop fast-scaling SaaS products, leveraging Progressive Web App (PWA) technologies. A history of delivering user-friendly products with meticulous attention to detail
- Technical Expertise: Strong programming skills with a solid foundation in Computer Science. Experience in building backend platforms that support diverse product lines is essential
- Resilience: A gritty approach to problem-solving, with prior experience in early-stage startups highly regarded
- Langchain Expertise: Seasoned experience with Langchain, particularly in scenarios involving complex data integration and AI-driven response generation
- Application Stack: AWS, Next.js, TailwindCSS, Prisma, PostgreSQL
- Gen AI Stack: VertexAI, OpenAI, Langchain
Desirable
- Experience building LLM applications — While the technology is new, you have experience building LLM-related projects and are familiar with both the advantages of the technology and also its limitations. You also have experience in prompt engineering and keep up with the latest advancements in LLMs
- Strong communicator — As an early-stage startup, there will be lots of changes and ambiguity in the beginning. You should be comfortable sharing your feedback early, and often, and you should be comfortable bringing up product ideas frequently
- Entrepreneurial drive — You’re able to work without explicit direction, at times. As a founding member, you’ll be expected to be OK with the level of ambiguity that comes with an early-stage startup while also seeking out solutions to problems
What the job involves
- As a Founding AI Engineer at Whitelabel, you’ll be responsible for the development and refinement of the AI codebase and infrastructure that powers our current data extraction, product generation, and reporting products
- Build, and maintain, durable, scalable LLM-based applications with Langchain + TypeScript, capable of processing millions of documents per month particularly related to calls to LLMs and the reliability of the output
- Innovate with the latest models and advancements in Generative AI to determine the best model for a given use case
- Have complete ownership over the work you do — as a founding team member, you’ll have the opportunity to truly own large areas of product and engineering and have direct relationship with customers
- Evaluate AI, test theories and understand our direction in AI expansion
- Work directly with the CEO, CTO, and other founding members and help build out our team

AI systems can struggle with securely sharing data across organizations. While many excel at internal knowledge management, they fall short in cross-organizational collaboration, where secure, unified systems are needed to manage and share data while maintaining branding.
White Label AI's platform fills this gap by offering a solution that combines retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) with customizable branding. Allowing businesses to securely share knowledge across teams and external stakeholders.
Though still in pre-launch, White Label AI has already attracted early adopters, who've seen time savings and improved communication. This initial success sets the stage for a strong platform launch.
