What the job involves
- We’re looking for an experienced, thoughtful, and proactive Executive Assistant to support our Head of B2B
- This isn’t just an admin job—it’s about being a strategic partner
- You’ll help scale leadership impact, streamline systems, and champion a collaborative, high-performance culture
- The ideal candidate is deeply empathetic, passionate about helping others thrive, thrives in fast-moving startup environments, and is fiercely organized
- You’re not only excellent at managing calendars and planning travel—you’re someone who anticipates needs, communicates clearly, and is excited to build structure where it doesn't yet exist
- This is a high-trust role with both professional and light personal support responsibilities
- You’ll have a front-row seat to shaping how our Head of B2B spends time and energy as we expand this pivotal vertical
- Strategic Time & Calendar Management:
- Own and optimize the Head of B2B’s calendar with a clear eye on strategic priorities
- Enforce scheduling discipline and proactively manage time blocks for deep work, reflection, and rest
- Run calendar hygiene and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts
- Meeting & Communication Support:
- Implement a structured meetings framework—prepare agendas, ensure follow-ups, and drive accountability
- Take initiative to consolidate or eliminate unnecessary meetings
- Serve as a key liaison with internal teams and external partners, reflecting the tone and clarity of leadership
- Operational & Project Support:
- Lead light project management for initiatives related to B2B, culture, and operations
- Handle expense reporting, invoice tracking, and basic finance support
- Manage executive travel end-to-end: flights, lodging, dining, etc.—with a strong sense of tone, preference, and style
- Coordinate onboarding logistics for new hires on the B2B team
- Personal & Ad Hoc Support:
- Support occasional personal logistics and tasks to maximize leadership capacity
- Assist with confidential and sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism

CookUnity is a meal subscription service which connects consumers with some of the country's best known chefs, including Esther Choi, Chris Ratel and Andy Mendez. Consumers can select from a menu of handcrafted meals that cater to a wide variety of palates and dietary preferences. Believing that healthy food fuels stronger communities, CookUnity contributes to an ongoing partnership and donation with the Food Bank For New York City.
The New York founded business hit the headlines for its upward trajectory in 2020, where it secured 15.5 million in funding and saw an expected boost not just in demand, but in the supply of top culinary talent at a time when restaurants were struggling.
While there’s a wide world of meal plan delivery services, CookUnity has a jump on much of the competition as it’s the first service that connects such eminent chefs directly with the customer. This has allowed it to expand across much of the US, and it now prepares over 10 million meals annually for its 50,000 subscribers.
With most of the urban US now covered by its service, CookUnity is moving into the next phase of its growth, expanding the range of sellers and food products on the platform, and has plans to offer family-sized portions, brekfast options and cooking classes using its existing physical and digital infrastructure. This will enable it to grow into an all-in-one meal subscription service over the coming years.
