Role
Who you are
- This role is ideal for someone who’s hungry to grow in Sales, thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, and isn’t afraid of picking up the phone. We’re looking for ambitious, self-motivated individuals who want to make a real impact – and have fun doing it
- 1–3 years of client-facing sales experience, ideally in travel, hospitality, luxury retail, or other high-touch industries
- Positive, energetic personality that inspires others and enhances the guest experience
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets consistently
- Exceptional communicator – builds trust and rapport quickly over phone, email, and text
- Self-starter with a bias for action – thrives independently and contributes to team success
- Comfortable with technology and CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach)
- Passion for travel and familiarity with luxury hospitality experiences
- Familiarity with top travel destinations and current trends is a bonus
- Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments where things move quickly and adaptability is key
What the job involves

- As part of our Demand Sales Team, you’ll be the voice of Wander – guiding potential guests through a personalized experience that inspires them to book their dream getaway
- This is a high-impact role on a fast-growing team. In just three months since the role launched, we’ve already driven over $1M in bookings – and we’re just getting started. With plans to scale the team to 30+ over the next year, you’ll be joining at a pivotal moment with plenty of room to grow, lead, and shape what’s next.
- The team is outperforming across the board – averaging well over 100% to goal. And with uncapped commissions and tiered multipliers, top performers are earning big
- Consistently hit or exceed monthly targets for bookings and GMV
- Drive bookings by proactively reaching out to potential guests across Wander’s luxury portfolio
- Craft personalized outreach to engage high-value travelers and guide them through the booking process
- Conduct consultative sales conversations to understand guest needs and recommend the right Wander experience
- Clearly communicate Wander’s unique value in the luxury travel space
- Follow up with inbound leads and marketing-generated prospects to maximize conversions
- Partner with Marketing and Concierge to improve the guest experience
- Keep CRM records accurate and up to date with all sales activity
- Stay informed on property details, seasonal promos, and destination highlights to strengthen recommendations
- Share insights and ideas to improve performance and strategy

Our take
While AirBnB disrupted the hotel and hospitality industries, the novelty has worn off. Surprise fees, sub-par cleaning, uncomfortable beds and unreliable photos are just some of the factors which have taken the shine off the sharing economy model. Built as a response to these issues, Wander aims to return the luxury to the vacation and short stay sector.
Wander provides a tech-first approach to letting short stays that might be familiar to anyone using AirBnB or another competitor, but the comparisons stop there. Wander directly owns and controls the properties on its portfolio, allowing it to ensure a high standard of quality and excellent customer service for its guests.
After raising an impressive amount of capital, Wander has secured a significant credit facility from Credit Suisse. It will use this to increase its property portfolio across the United States with an aim to put a property within 3 hours drive of 80% of the population. It is also rolling out a facility to allow guests to purchase part ownership of the homes they stay in, allowing them to diversify their own financial portfolios. With this approach, Wander is in a strong position to capture a large segment of the luxury market.
