Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in back-end development and a proven track record of leading and mentoring a team
- Extensive working experience as BE developer (node.js and in particualr nest.js experience is a big plus)
- Proven experience as a Engineering Manager ( > 2 years) or in a similar leadership role, managing and mentoring a team of frontend developers
- Demonstrated ability to architect and design modern cloud based solutions with a focus on security, quality, and maintainability
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex engineering challenges
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross - functional teams
- Agile and pragmatic start-up state of mind: result focus and great collaboration skills
- The attitude to always keep on learning
What the job involves
- We are looking for an experienced and talented Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team
- As an Engineering Manager at Mercanis, you will be responsible for leading two vertical teams of talented engineers, working on cutting hedge technology and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality web applications and services
- You will collaborate closely with the product and customer success teams to translate user requirements into seamless, responsive, and safe user experiences
