Role
Who you are
- Sales planning or after sales support experience,
- Understanding of out-of-home and/or digital advertising
- Experience working with sales leadership, marketing, operations, product and creative partners
- Ability to successfully work under tight project deadlines
- Demonstrate a repertoire of skills such as scheduling, prioritizing, organizing, planning, problem solving, decision-making, financial savvy, attention to detail and follow through
- Ability to understand products and effectively identify how it can provide value to a prospective customer
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to cultivate a “story” to describe in our proposals how Firefly’s products will meet or exceed client’s advertising goals Highly organized and detail-oriented self-starter with proven problem solving skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced sales-driven work environment
- History of effective cross-functional collaboration across multiple office locations
- Programmatic advertising experience is a plus
What the job involves
- Manage full campaign life cycle from planning and contract, through end of campaign
- Lead RFP strategy sessions, and produce thoughtful, creative and goal-oriented proposals to premium brands and advertisers
- Partner with the Sales Team on select new business opportunities, recommending ideas, products and campaign strategies to meet clients’ objectives and success metrics
- Assist in identifying advertising needs of clients in order to develop new revenue opportunities
- Cultivating relationships with existing clients to maximize client satisfaction, retention, and growth
- Gather feedback from clients and communicate to relevant staff across the organization to improve Firefly’s overall company message, proposals, products and pricing
- Oversee and successfully deliver our customer’s advertising campaigns
- Provide adhoc, mid and post-campaign analysis by creating and implementing valuable, actionable insights and recommendations to our clients
Our take
Firefly is a street-level media platform offering cab and ridesharing drivers in major US cities the opportunity to make extra cash through advertisements. The company provides drivers with high-resolution, internet connected smart screens to fit on top of their vehicles, displaying hyper-targeted ads.
In spite of digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising taking a hit over recent years, the market is rebounding again - and Firefly is leveraging it to make impressive expansion moves. In June 2021, Firefly became the largest taxi-top platform in North America after acquiring Curb Taxi Media, giving it access to over ten thousand car tops to significantly scale its technology and network.
This expanded reach will consolidate an advertising service which is already highly reputed among its clients, which include 7-Eleven, Stella Artois, and Postmates - and with good reason. The DOOH screens offer market-leading high resolution, and advertisers can hyper-target according to granular factors like location, time of day, and competitor conquesting. Firefly is proving a runaway success in the developing DOOH market and looks set to continue with its expansion to the MENA region and beyond.
