• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, or a related field
• Extensive experience with the administration of both Windows and Linux systems

• Strong customer service orientation
• Proficiency with Ubuntu, Windows 11, Windows Server 2019 & 2022, VMware ESXi, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, WSL, and Active Directory

• We are looking to add an Information Technology (IT) Systems Administrator II to our team
• In this position, you will be the face of the IT department for our Colorado office
• You will interact with staff of all levels, from onboarding new hires to assisting seasoned engineers
• Responsible for IT systems, including hardware management, user support, administration, software licensing, compliance with federal standards, and implementing IT processes and procedures
• Daily responsibilities include upgrading and maintaining data management systems, choosing computers and hardware upgrades, setting up new users, maintaining the local servers, and assisting users with IT tasks and issues
• You'll build, deploy, and administer Windows and Ubuntu desktops, laptops, servers, and lab systems, including virtual machines
• Support Windows and Linux machines in an Active Directory environment
• Manage network and online file storage
• Respond to issues in a timely manner via our ticketing system
• Maintain hardware, software, and licensing inventory and baselines
• Configure and maintain conferencing A/V setups and digital signage
• Keep documentation up to date
• Identify software and infrastructure needs and suggest solutions
