Who you are
- Ideally, this candidate is someone who has a strong desire to help build the go-to-market motion from the ground up and become a critical part of our growth journey
- Bachelors degree in business, marketing or a related field preferred
- Proven track record in B2B sales, with 1-3 years of experience in software sales, SaaS or a related field
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and understandable manner
- Time management skills and the ability to efficiently manage a sales pipeline
- Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Data-driven decision-making and a strong analytical mindset
- Sales skills, including lead generation, objection handling and relationship management
- In-depth product knowledge and a thorough understanding of our SaaS solution
- Customer-centric approach with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships

- As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at CurbWaste, you will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and fostering strategic partnerships
- You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying leads, nurturing relationships, and driving revenue growth

Our take
Precision in scheduling and logistics is vital for the work of waste haulers, a sector that is responsible for the transportation of waste products from commercial sites. As sustainability becomes an ever more pressing issue, the need for haulers to meet the demands of net zero and environmental friendliness has meant that waste management software is in more demand than ever.
CurbWaste is a software solution for waste haulers to manage the logistics, tracking, training and onboarding needs of their business. With research suggesting that almost 70% of waste haulers prefer digital solutions, the company has tapped into a sector that, although originally reluctant to embrace digitization, has seen strong uptake and investment over the last few years.
That is certainly the case for CurbWaste, which received a funding round of $10 million at the end of 2023. The company will use this investment to expand its business reach, capitalising on the fact that waste management is coming under increasing scrutiny.
