Who you are
- Must have strong analytical skills and ensure that our financial processes and procedures are followed
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Intacct experience a plus
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, lookup functions, sum if formulas) in order to analyze and reconcile large sets of data
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Confidentiality and integrity

- Strong passion for learning about our products and markets through in-house and external training
- Experience in high growth /pre-IPO Technology companies is a plus
What the job involves
- The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the month end financial close process and ensuring it is completed timely and accurately
- Reconciliation of subledger systems and accounts to the general ledger
- Reconciliation of various general accounts including bank accounts, credit card statements, prepaid, accrued expenses and intercompany accounts
- Assist with the annual audit process
- Work with our payroll accountant to ensure payroll and taxes are timely filed
- Experience with closing the books in foreign jurisdictions and knowledge of FX translation accounting
- Apply new accounting policies and ensure compliance with rules and regulations
- Process improvement recommendations
- Month end close process including journal entries and ensuring items are coded to proper departments and accounts
- Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Controller
