Who you are
- 5+ years experience in cyber threat intelligence or related field (threat hunting; digital forensics, SOC, intrusion, or incident response analysis; reverse, security, or detection engineering; security consulting
- Mastery of TCP/IP, common networking ports and protocols, traffic flow, system administration, OSI model, defense-in-depth, and common security elements
- Mastery of the life cycle of network threats, attacks, attack vectors, and methods of exploitation with an understanding of intrusion set tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
- Experience in writing and presenting technical findings clearly and effectively
- Commitment to training, self-study, and maintaining proficiency in the technical cyber security domain
- Strong problem-solving skills that model clear, analytical thinking and sound judgment
- Proven high level of integrity and discretion to handle confidential information
- Relevant certifications (GCTI, CISSP, CySA+) are preferred but not required
What the job involves
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Intelligence Analyst to join our team
- The ideal candidate will be key in securing our clients by providing actionable intelligence, threat analysis, and strategic guidance
- This position requires a deep understanding of cyber threats, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively
- Participate in the identification, tracking, monitoring, and mitigation of information security threats
- Prepare detailed intelligence reports, briefings, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Provide mentorship to Intelligence Analysts and subject matter expertise to internal and external inquiries
- Monitor emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques
- Perform analysis to provide network and data security utilizing established processes and tools to focus on threat identification, analysis, remediation, and mitigation of information security threats
- Illuminate threats across threat problems, contextualizing emerging trends with relevant geopolitical, cultural, or society-specific nuances
- Reviews and analyzes security events, determines their severity, and authors reports detailing the activity
- Communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to non-technical audiences
- Work closely with internal teams, including underwriting, claims, and risk management, to provide comprehensive support
- Collaborate with industry peers, government agencies, and other organizations to share intelligence
- Contribute to the development of new tools, methodologies, and processes for threat intelligence and analysis
Our take
For businesses operating today, cyber insurance is as fundamental as property insurance. However, companies may not be as educated in digital risk-assessment and can end up paying large insurance costs as a result. Resilience integrates risk engineering with their cyber-insurance offerings, allowing middle-market companies to build cyber resilience and access lower cost insurance options.
Traditionally, insurers assess the information security of a company and then write up their coverage, but Resilience instead works proactively to help mitigate problems where it finds them, before the policy is agreed. By doing so, it aligns itself with the interests of the businesses it serves and can form stronger insurer-customer relationships – which are maintained because Resilience offers access to security services for the whole length of the policy.
Resilience has seen significant investment through the years, including from notable investors in the insurance space, demonstrating that their approach is held in high regard. With this, it has invested in accelerating global expansion and scaling the adoption of the "Resilience Solution", its holistic cyber risk platform.
