Who you are
- You’ve already successfully scaled an eCommerce business leading a Growth team and you’re excited about doing it again
- You have an eye for great talent and enjoy building and nurturing teams
- Highly analytical, you have worked in businesses where experimentation was at the heart of decision making and where measured risks were encouraged
- You are able to run analysis and finance modelling independently thanks to advanced Excel skills and/or SQL
- Throughout your career, you have acquired hands-on experience of key digital marketing channels and are open to rolling your sleeves up to guide your team in their learning journey
- You are a naturally confident communicator with an ability to build lasting relationships internally and externally, rooted in honesty and mutual respect
- Always curious, you like to understand the bigger picture of an organisation and have experience working collaboratively with other departments outside of marketing towards shared goals
- Mentally agile, you thrive in fast paced environments, where the expectation is to operate with a strong sense of urgency

What the job involves
- We’re looking for an exceptional Head of Growth to join our Marketing Team at Skin + Me
- As Head of Growth, you will be responsible for growing Skin + Me’s profit through acquisition and retention channels
- In charge of the digital media budget, you will use your analytical skills and commercial acumen to make the right investment decisions
- You will work with the rest of the marketing team to ensure our brand shines and customers see the right message at the right time
- Comfortable with a fast pace and agile working environment, you will ensure your team stays focused and motivated
- Deliver against Skin + Me’s growth objectives by devising strategies across paid media, influencers, CRM and website experience
- Manage the media budget for Skin + Me D2C, constantly optimising our channel mix to ensure we keep scaling revenue and long term profit
- Lead, develop and coach a team of three channel experts working across Skin + Me and two other business units
- Brief the Influencer and CRM teams on strategy, budget and priorities for your business unit
- Work hand-in-hand with the Brand marketing team to devise and execute 360° campaigns that delight our key audience
- Deploy hypothesis-based experiments across the marketing funnel (from ads to bidding and website) - through agile working with the design, copy and development teams
- Work closely with the management team to define the future growth of the business
- Develop and maintain an up to date understanding of the market, customer needs, competitor activity and market opportunity

Back in 2018, Skin + Me's founders identified a huge problem in the world of skincare: people don’t just struggle with their skin – they struggle with how they’re supposed to deal with it. With no truly effective solutions available, the company set out to build a pioneering online dermatology service that provides personalised skincare.
Skin + Me takes customers through a simple online medical consultation and work with dermatologists to prescribe a treatment, personalised to the individual. Part of the company's unique selling point is that its made-to-order formulation arrives through a subscription box each month and comes in a ‘Daily Doser’ – a specially designed bottle that dispenses the exact amount of the product needed for daily application.
Skin + Me is supported by a team of dermatologists, pharmacists and direct-to-consumer experts, which allows it to deliver across the business - from skin science to building the technology platform behind it. The company's growth plans include continual development of its services while ensuring it sticks to its ethos: providing desired, effective, and personalised skincare.
