Staff Accountant, Snap Inc.

• Together, the team partners with leadership to provide insights, information, and guidance to make strategic and operational decisions, inform investors about our business model and progress, and ensure the company is financially healthy and consistently meeting our reporting obligations
• As a member of the Accounting team and various cross functional teams, you will analyze accounting treatment for certain transactions, record and report accounting transactions, and optimize processes for efficient and accurate data flow
• You will collaborate with these, and other business partners daily to ensure accurate and timely accounting and US GAAP reporting
• Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries and account reconciliations as part of the monthly close process for areas, as assigned
• Prepare materials for internal and external reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Prepare various reconciliations and analysis of account activity
• Identify risks, implement controls, and maintain proper process documentation and evidence in accordance with SOX
• Provide support for the annual financial statement audit, quarterly reviews, as well as periodic internal audits
• Improve and document general processes for assigned areas
• Provide support for other ad hoc analyses and projects, as needed
