Who you are
- In partnership with our leading retail partners, we need people with the passion, determination, and innovation required to overcome one of the world's largest problems

- PX breadth: You have deep experience across the people experience lifecycle and you’re motivated by making an impact across the full people journey
- Talent expertise: You may already have proven experience leading full-cycle recruitment, from proactive sourcing to creating exceptional candidate experiences, or you may come from a strong recruiting PX background and be excited to further hone those skills. Either way, you’re motivated to find the right people and take pride in seeing those hires thrive
- Stakeholder partnering: Strong experience building trusted relationships with senior leaders. You’re skilled at influencing, navigating complex conversations, and guiding with credibility and care
- Versatility: You’re comfortable wearing many hats and moving seamlessly between strategic initiatives and hands-on tasks. Perhaps you’ve been in a standalone PX/HR role before, or thrived in a lean team where adaptability and context switching were essential

- At Auror, we’re empowering the retail industry to tackle theft and Organised Retail Crime, a $150 Billion problem globally. It’s high volume crime that’s increasingly organised in nature and is putting people, retailers, and communities at risk every day

- We’re on the lookout for a Talent & PX Partner to join us in the new year and step into a 13-month parental leave cover role, with the possibility of becoming permanent at the end of the term if there is a business need

- Partnering with PX teammates and leaders on initiatives across onboarding, performance, people development, DEIB, wellbeing, compensations/benefits and workplace experience
- Supporting our UK team with employment agreements, compensation philosophy, and job level strategy
- Acting as a trusted advisor on people relations, guiding individual contributors and leaders through complex conversations with care and professionalism
- Ensuring compliance with local requirements (health & safety, leave, payroll reporting)
- Streamlining and administering people processes to make Auror a great place to work for everyone
- Partnering with leaders to deeply understand hiring needs and priorities across the UK & Europe
- Leading proactive, innovative sourcing and recruitment to attract outstanding talent at all levels
- Designing engaging candidate experiences that reflect Auror’s culture of high care and high performance
- Building diverse and inclusive talent pipelines, supporting internal mobility, and enabling growth for existing team members
- Driving Auror’s employer brand and talent community presence in the UK
- Owning and continuously improving selection processes, assessments, and recruitment technologies
- Coaching and upskilling leaders on interviewing tactics and decision-making
- This role reports to Siân Govind, Director of Talent & PX

Our take
Across the globe, profit-motivated and organised crime costs trillions of dollars each year, with retail theft costing the world over $100B annually. However, shoplifting has become an “accepted” business cost, often unreported and unsolved, that businesses factor theft costs into their budgets and forecasts. Auror’s platform for retailers is focused on preventing crime, reducing loss, and making stores safer.
The company uses data visibility technology for fast and easy reporting of crime, providing crimefighters with the intelligence they need to not only solve more crime, but also provides insights as to how to prevent future shoplifting. Connected with over 2,000 law enforcement agencies, it drives a 50% improvement in debt recovery rates and resolves cases that would ordinarily never be investigated within two weeks.
The company has expanded globally, with offices in New Zealand, Australia, the USA, and the UK, and works with some of the largest retailers in these countries, including Walmart, Woolworths, and Coles. Auror’s successful expansions and proven product have it well set to be at the centre of greatly reducing retail theft across the globe.
