Who you are

  • The ideal candidate has experience building and scaling Enterprise B2B SaaS organizations, managing a team of highly competent salespeople, and working cross functionally at the executive level
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in customer-facing roles, with at least 5 years in leadership positions within Sales
  • Proven track record of success in B2B SaaS sales
  • Strong network and relationships within the insurance sector
  • A proven track record of building and scaling Sales teams, and demonstrably improving key metrics
  • Exceptional ability to lead, inspire, and mentor high-performing teams

What the job involves

  • We are searching for our first Vice President of Sales to join our Executive Leadership Team
  • You are prepared to be a builder and you are comfortable working in a very fast paced organization where you will be building many processes from scratch. You lean in quickly and find ways to iterate and scale. You have a strong and deep understanding of what it means to be a Go to Market leader
  • In this role, you will own our Go to Market strategy, partnering directly with the founders to build out the next stage of growth for the business
  • As the VP of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, expanding our customer base, and establishing Wisedocs as a trusted partner in the insurtech landscape
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for selling our solution into claims organizations, law firms, and third party organizations that are aligned with the company's goals and objectives
  • Team Leadership: Build, lead, and motivate a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure they consistently meet and exceed targets
  • Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities and target markets, working closely with the executive team to expand our customer base and increase market share
  • Executive Reporting: Collaborating with the C-suite weekly and providing updates, opportunities and risks to sales reports
  • Customer Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders understanding their needs and challenges to tailor our solutions effectively
  • Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by closing significant deals, negotiating contracts, and managing the sales pipeline to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with insurtech solutions, competitor offerings, and industry trends to effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients
  • Reporting and Analytics: Implement robust sales reporting and analytics to provide insights into performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer success, to ensure alignment and a seamless customer experience
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities are carried out in compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards

Our take

Wisedocs was born out of frustration with one of the healthcare administration's most cumbersome tasks: medical record management. Its automated processing software tackles this head-on, aiming to contribute to better overall healthcare by freeing up valuable manpower and time currently spent on paperwork.

Wisedocs has successfully developed an AI-powered solution that demonstrably outperforms traditional methods of handling unstructured medical documents. Hence, the company streamlines the process of clinician notes, medical briefs, records, assessments, and discharge summaries.

Backed by prominent investors, Wisedocs successfully launched in the US in 2022, followed by the opening of a new American headquarters to support its growing US customer base. This was followed by further funding in 2024. It believes its product can significantly reshape the American healthcare and insurance landscape, where streamlining paperwork and unlocking critical data are major concerns.
