Role
Who you are
- We are looking for a go-getter who can get stuff done, is hungry and ready to make an impact – everything else can be taught
- 2+ years experience in high-performing environment (startups, consulting, IB, VCs or similar)
- Strong bonus points for early start up experience as founder and operators
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- A ‘no task is too big or too small’ mindset where you will roll up your sleeve to get the job done
- Comfortable with ambiguity and thrives in chaotic, evolving situations
- Bonus: Understanding or experience in biotechnology, high-performance computing or other scientific industries
What the job involves
- Your mission is to work hand-in-hand with the founders to solve the company’s most pressing challenges—no matter how big or small
- You will cover all aspects of the business - ranging from market analysis to NDA contract creation to marketing event organisation to sales presentation
- This will be fast paced role with very high degree of responsibility and ownership
- Act as an extension of the founders, especially the COO, to facilitate decision-making and prioritise high-leverage opportunities
- Own mission-critical projects from concept to execution to drive growth
- Analyse and improve processes to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Step in wherever needed to solve problems and address urgent challenges
- Prepare sales materials, investor updates, board presentations, marketing content, internal and external events
- Foster continuous learning and performance improvement across the team

- On-site meetup (Half Day): On-site interviews and team lunch at our headquarters to ask any questions and experience our office and culture firsthand

Our take
With so many scientists now relying on the cloud for advanced analysis, it has become difficult and time consuming to find and resolve issues - meaning researchers waste time they could be spending actually researching. To answer this, Tracer is delivering a platform for researchers to monitor and fix broken pipelines in their scientific analyses workflows.
The idea is to make using high-performance computing for processes such as bioinformatics and fluid dynamics as accessible as launching a website. Through the platform, scientists and engineers can review, maintain, and optimize their software easily, supporting faster innovation in critical industries.
A young company, Tracer has recently secured an oversubscribed angel round of financing from key biotechnology executives and cloud infrastructure investors. This demonstrates the interest that the industry has in such an offering - a great sign for the company's future.
