Role
Who you are
- You have +2 years B2B sales experience, as a Business Development Representative/ Sales Executive - an experience in a tech company or in the insurance space is a plus
- You are familiar with sales protocols and SaaS company processes, use of CRMs, slack communication, multi-teams interactions. You have good self-management skills, you are efficient and have the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- You have a ‘pioneer’ mindset, and like researching to identify potential customers, possessing the agility and adaptability required to open doors and interact with technical teams
- You possess the level-head required to project manage both smaller (40k - 60k) and larger (100K - 200K) contracts, with excellent presentation skills to navigate short and mid-term sales cycles with C-level
- You have proven expertise in business development and a track record of mastering sales strategies for complex deep-tech SaaS products. You excel at defining tailored closing plans for each opportunity, with clear, proactive actions to drive success
- You are able not only to work individually and be autonomous, but also collaboratively (in shared territories)
- You have excellent communication skills—oral, written, and non-verbal. Proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory, while knowledge of Portuguese is a plus. You excel at simplifying complex concepts, making them easy to understand
- You are proactive, dynamic, curious, eager to learn and action-oriented. You will need to show motivations toward achieving the sales target and demonstrate a sincere interest in Akur8, both as a company and in the solutions we offer
- In the international context of the company, any additional languages are a definite bonus
What the job involves
- As part of our growing sales team, you will be focusing, helping to develop and scale our Small clients business on the Iberia & Latam markets
- Your key objective will be to identify potential customers and lead the sales process in order to build a network of leads, and sign contracts in your territory
- Both independently and with the aid of local sales partners, the Scale Sales Executive will be capable of using their previous sales experience to close business
- As a Sales Executive you will be responsible for owning your territory and the associated quota
- Identifying new opportunities in Iberia & Latam, but also exploring every segments and lines of business of your territory
- Pitching and negotiating with C-Level executives
- Working on and submitting proposals, as well as negotiating contracts with clients
- Building strong, long-lasting relationships with strategic prospects and clients
- Thinking out of the box, suggesting new ideas and approaches to improve our product, based on client expectations

Putting the correct pricing on insurance has always been a challenge for insurers. Pricing too low can decimate profits, but pricing too high is a sure-fire way to drive off customers. Despite this importance of pricing, it has generally remained a human task, and therefore prone to errors and biases.
AKUR8 wants to change this, delivering an AI-based solution that automates pricing modelling for insurers, while maintaining the transparency and control required by regulators.
