Our take

Sure is a software-as-a-service provider that powers API-based digital insurance programs for enterprises and brands. Rather than underwriting the insurance themselves, Sure acts as a platform that enables brands to sell their own insurance packages which are actually underwritten by legacy insurers like Nationwide, Chubb and MetLife.

Not long ago, the company partnered with Zibo to streamline the renters' insurance process for tenants, a smart move in a world that used to be exclusively in person and is transitioning to digital. There are great benefits to having insurance and rent management under one online roof, for landlords and tenants alike. It has since teamed up with PorchPals for embedded package insurance and was recognised as one of the fastest-growing tech companies in North America.

The recent arrival of competitor Boost - founded by Sure's Series A venture capital backer - hasn’t deterred the company at all. In fact, Sure claims to be profitable, and boasts an impressive range of clients – like Tesla, Intuit, Mastercard.
