Role
Who you are
- 15+ years of experience in the healthcare industry with at least 10 years in roles working for or with health systems and/or medical practices on billing / reimbursement / rev cycle optimization
- Bachelor’s degree, Masters preferred
- Deep knowledge of the US reimbursement landscape, including payer types (e.g., CMS, private payers), payment models (e.g., value-based care, fee-for-service. etc.), and coding/reimbursement systems (e.g., ICD-10); certifications such as RHIA, Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (AAPC), Risk Adjustment Coder (AHIMA), etc. are preferred
- Excellent presentation development and delivery skills
- Proficient written communication skills
- Passion for improving healthcare
- Enthusiasm for and experience engaging effectively with both prospects and customers, including advising them on reimbursement strategies
- Track record of working successfully in a fast-paced startup environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of autonomy
What the job involves
- As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Cycle and Billing Subject Matter Expert(Full-Time position) to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in supporting our sales efforts and navigating the complexities of reimbursement in the healthcare industry
- The Revenue Consultant will serve as a key member of the sales support team, providing expertise in revenue cycle management and billing processes related to our brain health solutions
- This role is instrumental in ensuring a smooth transition from sales to implementation, focusing on understanding and overcoming the intricacies of reimbursement for our innovative products
- Sales Support:
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide pre-sales support, including creating customized reimbursement strategies and addressing potential client concerns related to billing processes
- Act as a liaison between the sales and implementation teams, ensuring a seamless handover of client expectations and requirements
- Reimbursement Strategy Development:
- Analyze and evaluate reimbursement landscapes to develop effective reimbursement strategies that align with the unique features of our brain health solutions
- Assist in the creation of sales collateral and training materials to educate clients on reimbursement processes
- Client Education:
- Conduct training sessions for clients and internal teams on billing and revenue cycle management best practices, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the financial aspects of our solutions
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Monitor and interpret healthcare regulations, ensuring that the company remains compliant with billing and reimbursement standards
- Advise on adjustments to strategies and processes to align with evolving regulatory requirements
