Who you are
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise business development, strategic partnerships, or ecosystem leadership, ideally within OEM, telecom, advertising, or platform-led environments
- Demonstrated success building long-term, multi-year partnerships with large, complex organisations
- Strong executive presence and credibility with senior enterprise stakeholders
- Experience navigating complex governance structures, long partnership lifecycles, and multi-party ecosystems
- Experience working across both US and international markets; familiarity with Asia-based OEM and Telco ecosystems is a strong plus
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
What the job involves
- InMobi is seeking a senior enterprise Client Development leader to serve as Vice President, Client Development – OEM & Telco, responsible for building and expanding strategic advertising partnerships across the device manufacturer and telecom ecosystem
- This role is focused on long-term business development and executive partnerships within InMobi Ads
- The initial emphasis is on establishing depth and credibility with priority OEM and Telco partners, particularly in the United States, while creating the foundation to extend those partnerships across the broader global ecosystem over time
- Operating at the intersection of advertising platforms, device-native experiences, and connected ecosystems, you will act as InMobi Ads’ senior representative to OEMs and telecom operators
- Success in this role is defined by the strength, durability, and institutional nature of partnerships, with advertising adoption and commercial outcomes emerging through sustained collaboration rather than transactional execution
- Reporting into the Vice President, Client Development – Global, you will define the OEM & Telco Ads business development charter, shape partnership strategy, and ensure these relationships are built to scale across markets, devices, and multi-year horizons
- This role is based in the United States and involves regular engagement with partners across North America, Asia, and other priority markets
- You'll lead Client Development efforts for InMobi Ads across OEM and Telco partners, establishing anchor relationships and long-term partnership pathways
- Build depth with priority partners while shaping how those relationships expand across additional markets and regions over time
- Position InMobi Ads as a strategic advertising partner, aligned to partners’ long-term device and platform roadmaps
- Ensure partnerships are designed to scale across geographies, device categories, and advertising use cases
- Serve as the executive relationship owner for InMobi Ads’ most strategic OEM and Telco partnerships
- Build and sustain trusted, senior-level relationships with decision-makers across partner organisations (CEO, President, Partnerships, Product, Marketing)
- Provide continuity and senior stewardship through leadership changes, roadmap evolution, and multi-year planning cycles
- Establish InMobi Ads as a credible, long-term partner within the OEM & Telco advertising ecosystem
- Originate and steward multi-year Joint Business Plans with priority OEM and Telco partners
- Anchor partnerships around:
- Adoption of InMobi Ads capabilities across device-native and connected environments
- Expansion across surfaces, formats, and markets
- Alignment with advertiser and agency ecosystems
- Establish clear governance structures, operating cadence, and shared success metrics
- Ensure partnerships mature from early-stage collaboration into institutionalised, repeatable engagements
- Shape the strategic and commercial frameworks that support sustainable advertising adoption across OEM and Telco partnerships
- Ensure alignment between partner priorities, advertiser and agency demand, and internal execution teams
- Guide the evolution of partnerships from initial integration to scaled, multi-market programs
- Lead complex, multi-year partnership discussions and long-horizon agreements
- Act as the internal owner of the OEM & Telco Ads business development vertical
- Build and lead a senior partnership bench as the ecosystem evolves
- Align Product, Solutions, Legal, and RevOps to support enterprise-grade partnership execution
- Represent OEM & Telco Ads priorities in AOP planning, leadership reviews, and long-range strategy discussions
Our take
Mobile advertising is an incredibly important element of marketing campaigns for modern businesses, but success is limited to the quality of engagements that campaigns have on audiences. Engagement can be optimised by targeting ads to relevant audiences through cookies and other data sets, but without the right analytic tools to lead to actionable insights, this data remains useless.
InMobi provides a data-driven mobile marketing platform, offering a toolkit called InMobi Pulse that provides insights into mobile marketing based on consumer feedback, product testing, and other proprietary data. The company also provides InMobi Exchange, a platform for reaching mobile-first audiences and an enterprise-grade platform for purchasing DSP services.
Whilst it is undeniable that InMobi faces competition from other mobile-focused marketing platforms, the company stands out with the sheer range of tools it offers and its focus on markets such as India and Southeast Asia which are difficult for North American and European firms to enter. InMobi has plans to further expand globally, however, and is bringing its Glance lock screen advertising product to the US and Latin America in the near future.
