Role
Who you are
- At least 7-10 years of comprehensive experience in information security, compliance, or risk management roles within industries with sensitive data, such as healthcare, banking, e-commerce, security assessment, or compliance auditing firms, or government contracting, where data governance and compliance are critical
- Certifications relevant to the technologies and responsibilities outlined (e.g., CGRC, CRISC, CISA, CIPP, HCISPP, CISSP, AWS, CCSP, etc.) are highly desirable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience implementing secure architectures, assessing risks, and managing vulnerabilities within cloud-native and hybrid environments
- Proficiency in applying access controls, encryption standards, and continuous monitoring tools to ensure compliance and protect sensitive data
- Exposure to public safety, justice, or similar agencies, even indirectly, is advantageous
- Alternatively, a strong understanding of regulated data (CJI, ePHI) and compliance frameworks would be beneficial
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams, setting and achieving expectations on solution delivery
- Located in the United States
What the job involves
- Because government agencies are adopting Peregrine at a rapid pace, we are looking for execution-oriented leaders to own product deployment and customer impact delivery across our client base
- Our Deployment Strategists are critical to Peregrine’s business strategy. They are both the vector through which we deploy our product platform to deliver value to our customers, and the engine that powers our sales, marketing, and product feedback loops
- Identify workflows where our product can create operational impact for our customers
- Develop products, data models, and data pipelines to enable our customers to execute on those workflows
- Build relationships with customer executives to ensure Peregrine is oriented toward their hardest operational problems
- As a North Star, deliver our product to our customers with best-in-market quality and speed in complex, mission-critical environments
Our take
With the digitisation of emergency response organisations, data and incident reporting is speeding up, but this presents a problem if this information is not digestible. Emergency responders must be able to quickly translate and understand information as it comes in, or risk this faster flow of data being made redundant.
Peregrine is a data integration platform that improves emergency responses by making data more accessible, understandable and actionable. The platform can be used for public safety at different scales, such as building, city or region-wide. Its machine learning capabilities are also able to collate raw surveillance data, linking people, places and events to track targets or potential criminal activity.
With a founding team that boasts experience in both security and environmental risk analysis, Peregrine shows the potential to bridge the gap between tech and law enforcement. Funding is being channelled into accelerating the company's growth as it looks to double its employee headcount in the near future.
