Who you are
- This role is ideal for someone passionate about our mission, knowledgeable about talent acquisition for a variety of non-technical roles, and eager to build an inclusive, high-performing company
- Extensive sourcing experience - you must be comfortable spending time directly sourcing
- Some initial experience owning end-to-end recruitment processes
- At least one year of experience working internally for fast-growing, tech-driven companies—a mix of agency and in-house (or RPO/onsite) experience is ideal
- A candidate-centric mindset that ensures an outstanding experience for both candidates and hiring managers
- Strong stakeholder management skills: you listen, iterate quickly, and build trust-based relationships
- A high degree of comfort in context-switching - you’ll be working across various teams in the business, on roles requiring very diverse, often highly specialised skillsets
- A solution-oriented, proactive approach with creativity and determination to tackle hiring challenges in competitive markets. You’ll get stuff done
- Data-driven thinking, leveraging metrics to improve processes and make informed decisions
- Experience with Greenhouse, Metaview, Otta, LinkedIn Recruiter, Notion, and G-Suite is a plus. If you’ve worked with other advanced sourcing tools, that’s a big plus too!
What the job involves
- As a Talent Partner, you'll join our close-knit Talent Team, acting as a trusted partner and subject matter expert in commercial recruitment
- Proactively sourcing and engaging exceptional talent for our commercial roles through direct sourcing, building a strong referral network, and fostering candidate pipelines. We hire 99% of our roles directly
- Working closely with the Principal Talent Partner in this area, for some roles supporting primarily through sourcing activities, while owning more junior roles end-to-end
- Ensuring best-in-class interview processes by leveraging data to assess quality of hire, candidate experience, and hiring manager feedback
- Embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in everything you do, from crafting outreach to working with external specialists on building inclusive recruitment campaigns
- Staying updated on recruitment tools and techniques, leveraging platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter and Greenhouse to enhance our recruitment processes, but also utilising innovative sourcing techniques (events, x-ray searching etc)

- The interview process will include:
- Screening call with one of our Principal Talent Partners – 30–45 mins
- A task-based interview with our Principal Talent Partner for our commercial roles assessing your sourcing strategies – 60 mins
- We aim to review all applications within 5 working days
- A deep-dive with our Talent Lead to explore your experience and approach – 45 mins
- We aim to complete the process within 2 weeks, but some exceptions might occur because of internal holidays over the Christmas period

It now has millions of registered users, 99% of which are based in the US, leading to a decision to take a year break from the UK market to focus on its US Gen Z customers.
Its Series C funding will help the company to double down in the US, where it will make a significant increase in employee headcount, and enable Cleo to maintain and expand its service during an economic downturn.
Financial advice delivered via bots is a crowded space, so Cleo benefits from having a strong brand presence. It has gone for very bold, fun, Gen Z-focused messaging which helps it to stand out from competitors such as Emma, Plum, and Chip.
