What the job involves
- As part of our growth journey, we're looking for a new colleague to join our Sales Team in London as Sales Development Representative (SDR), who will help us grow our customer base and overall business in the UK market
- In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential customers within the UK (mainly within the hospitality & healthcare industry), assessing their relevance to Planday
- Your primary objective will be to identify potential customer needs and pass them on to our Account Executive Team, who will take over the sales process
- Lead Generation, identifying potential customers and generating leads through research, networking, and outreach
- Prospecting, building account lists and being the first point of contact for all of our outbound sales efforts
- Qualification of new prospects
- Book meetings with potential new customers and communicate the value of our solution for our Account Executives to continue the sales process and close the business
- Generate a pipeline of potential opportunities, keep track of all your activity and work with the rest of the Go To Market team to craft messaging that resonates with our audience
- Create email campaigns, messaging, leverage our marketing and communicate our business value
- Maintain a positive mindset as an adaptable team player
- Ensure a proactive approach to learning
