Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of SQL and Python
- Understanding of data structures and databases
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts and data pipelines

What the job involves
- We are seeking a Data Engineer I to support the development and maintenance of our modern data platform. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone looking to grow their career in data engineering
- You will work closely with senior data engineers, analytics teams, and business stakeholders to help deliver reliable and high-quality data. This role focuses on learning best practices in data engineering while contributing to building scalable data pipelines and supporting analytics use cases
- Assist in building and maintaining batch data pipelines
- Support data ingestion from internal and external sources
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data transformation and validation
- Help develop and maintain workflows using orchestration tools like Apache Airflow
- Support data modeling and transformation efforts using DBT
- Monitor data pipelines and assist in troubleshooting issues
- Contribute to data quality checks and validation processes
- Work with structured and semi-structured datasets
- Collaborate with analytics and business teams to support reporting needs
- Document data processes, pipelines, and best practices
- Learn and apply modern data platform tools and technologies
