Role
Who you are
- 7+ years of experience in data analysis and/or data science, ideally on sales, marketing, and growth analytics at a SaaS company
- Expertise hacking AI/ML and automation tools for growth purposes, on top of using Claude, Cortex and other AI tools to streamline analytics workflow
- Proficient in BI tools like Metabase, Sigma, Tableau, Omni, or Looker
- Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, PostgreSQL)
- Hands-on experience with DBT for managing the Transform layer of ELT pipelines
- Ability to work cross-functionally to define metrics, create dashboards, and ensure data quality
- A strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and accura
- Loves transforming messy data into clean models and insights
- Thrives at bringing structure to chaos and able to find focus while juggling multiple projects
- Lead with intent and proactively bring ideas to our partners and stakeholders

What the job involves
- At Roofr, building a powerful user experience starts with data
- As a Senior Data Analyst at an early-stage, high-growth company, you’ll play a critical role in turning raw data into insights that shape product decisions, drive strategy, and improve the customer experience
- You’ll have a direct impact on how we use data to grow, and help influence the roadmap for how analytics evolves at Roofr
- This role sits at the intersection of data analytics and business, ideal for someone comfortable moving between modeling data, building dashboards, and advising senior leadership on growth opportunities
- Partner directly with business and product owners to shape roadmaps, prioritize features, and measure success
- Build an AI-first business intelligence platform to supercharge self-serve analysis
- Deliver actionable insights on user behavior, market trends, and business performance to marketing, revenue and product teams
- Lead sales and marketing analytics by defining KPIs and optimizing our acquisition funnels
- Tell compelling data stories to communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences
- Transform, clean, and model raw data using DBT to create reliable, analytics-ready datasets
- Take ownership of our analytics foundation, inheriting existing models (DBT) and data warehouse structure (Snowflake) to clean, improve, and scale them alongside a Senior Analytics Engineer
Our take
Roofing is one of those manual industries that’s been around forever, and can sometimes feel like it still exists in a completely pre-digital age. But Roofr’s on a mission to change that, with its software platform designed to modernize the industry.
One of its main selling points is that it offers roofers the ability to give instant estimates. It works with companies like Nearmap, whose low-altitude planes take high-resolution photos for mapping. This provides roofing companies with high-quality imagery of the roof to be able to give an estimate without a site visit - easier for the company and customer.
A few other start-ups are aiming to reinvent the roofing industry, but roofing is a $40 billion-a-year industry, so there's ample opportunity for growth. Roofr has raised substantial funding and already earned recognition in this sector, enabling it to strengthen its platform and continue to broaden its reach.
