Who you are

8+ years in design, with 5+ years dedicated to UX research in a larger design team (not as a solo designer)
Expertise in UX research methods: usability testing, interviews, surveys, A/B testing, etc
Strong communication skills to present insights and advocate for user needs
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence product strategy
Experience with tools like Qualtrics, UserTesting, or Maze, delivering impactful research
Based in Vienna, Munich, Paris, or London

Desirable

Experience in a product-driven company and working with distributed teams
German language skills are a strong advantage

What the job involves

Lead UX research projects using qualitative and quantitative methods to evaluate and improve user experiences
Collaborate with design, product, and engineering teams to guide user-focused product decisions
Define and create user tracking events in tools like Amplitude, Piwik Pro, Matomo, or Google Analytics
Conduct A/B testing and leverage data insights to optimize user interactions
Present research findings to stakeholders, advocating for data-driven design improvements
Lead workshops to educate teams on UX principles and research methods, ensuring effective use of UX insights

Prewave’s logistics solution uses automated mapping, scoring and monitoring to process data across 400 languages, assessing risk factors for companies' supply routes. Its platform offers real-time alerts and recommended actions, covering all steps in the risk lifecycle of logistics.

Prewave plans to use its most recent round of funding to break into the US market. This is no small undertaking, with competitors such as Everstream and Overhaul firmly rooted in the country. However, Prewave has a solid customer base - counting Dr Oetker, Lufthansa and Ferrari as clients - and tripled its growth in 2023, which bodes well for its US efforts.
