Who you are
- You have experience in SaaS sales, inside sales, digital sales, telesales, or a similar customer-facing commercial role
- Experience in the hospitality, restaurant, delivery, or technology industry is a strong advantage
- You are comfortable running professional sales conversations and product demonstrations via video conferencing
- You enjoy building relationships remotely and know how to create trust without being physically present
- You are highly organized and capable of managing a large number of opportunities simultaneously
- CRM systems, pipeline management, and forecasting are familiar and important tools for your daily work
- You are ambitious, performance-driven, and motivated by achieving and exceeding targets
- You possess excellent communication and presentation skills
- You are fluent in German and have good English skills
- You are based in Berlin or willing to relocate and enjoy working closely with colleagues in our Berlin office

What the job involves
- As a Digital Sales Manager, your primary responsibility is acquiring new customers through virtual sales meetings and guiding prospects through the complete sales cycle
- Own and manage the entire sales process from qualified opportunity to signed contract
- Conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations via video meetings
- Work closely with our BDR and Marketing teams, who generate and qualify leads for you
- Manage opportunities in regions and markets not covered by our Field Sales organization
- Build strong relationships with restaurant owners, franchise operators, and decision-makers remotely
- Identify customer challenges and position SIDES solutions to create measurable business outcomes
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive follow-ups and structured opportunity management
- Accurately manage all activities, opportunities, and forecasts within our CRM system
- Collaborate with Field Sales, Customer Success, Onboarding, and Product teams to ensure a seamless customer journey
Our take
Though founded in 2014, German-based SIDES - or SimplyDelivery - found its footing in the early 2020s as app-based food delivery services became fully integrated into everyday life. SIDES develops the software used by restaurants, catering companies, takeaway, and these industry's customers, to manage and process orders and tasks in the digital space. Now used in 6 European countries, SIDES has acquired thousands of clients to date.
In 2022, SIDES partnered with STRIPE payment technology to add a secure payment platform to its software, bringing its platform into the realm of eCommerce. While the company is still up against stiff competition from industry giants like Uber Eats and Deliveroo, its steady growth and expanding client base signal a strong future for the company.
