Who you are
- We are looking for a versatile full-stack engineer who is passionate about creating impactful features from end to end
- You have fullstack engineering experience
- You care deeply about design, usability, and building products people love
- You have strong product intuition and proactively identify improvements without being asked
- You’re comfortable moving fast and making smart tradeoffs
- You’re curious about AI and excited to shape how it gets surfaced to users
- You’re proficient in React and TypeScript for frontend development
- You’re experienced with Node.js or Python for backend development
- You have excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

What the job involves
- We are seeking a strong Product Engineer to join our Capabilities Team
- In this role, you will be instrumental in building net new capabilities for our core analytics product, with a particular focus on Marketing Analytics and AI-driven products
- You'll build fullstack features with a bias to frontend and UX ownership
- Pair with product managers, designers, and other engineers to rapidly iterate on new ideas and prototypes
- Talk to customers to understand their needs and what we should build to meet their needs
Our take
Amplitude provides product analytics to help companies understand user behaviour. Product, marketing, and growth teams use Amplitude to discover and share insights about user engagement, retention, and revenue.
Amplitude’s user flows reveal which actions are the most commonly taken after users sign up, and which usually precede purchases made in-app, creating paths through the app. The behaviour of individual app users can be viewed with unlimited real-time activity feeds and user timelines.
Thousands of companies use Amplitude analytics including Microsoft, Under Armour, Intuit, Twitter, Bonobos, Peloton, and many more. In 2024, a securities fraud case was filed against Amplitude due to an IPO and stock share rise that was alleged to be artificially inflated before their downturn in 2022. Whilst this case is ongoing, Amplitude is still releasing new products and operating at full capacity.
