7+ years of hands-on experience with one or more of the following: storage, device drivers, databases, networking, embedded software/firmware development, Linux
Excellent coding skills, with in-depth knowledge of C/C++

What the job involves

As a Software Senior Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing cutting edge software while providing creative solutions based on our business needs
Lead complex software features through the agile software lifecycle. Which includes; Gather, learn, investigate, and balance software requirements, shaping them into actionable items, Write high quality modular software designs, Implement great code, Define and implement concrete tests and metrics to ensure the definition of done is met, Convey clear and accurate technical documentation and provide long term support
Be responsible for improving our stability by troubleshooting and integrating smart solutions to existing components
Help improve development methodologies
Coach peers, partake in and lead design reviews while driving best practices to constantly improve the quality of our product
Help navigate our architecture roadmap
